Digital FrontiersmanI am a technology and new media specialist by trade who focuses on leveraging emerging technologies. I'm part software developer, designer, director, and entrepreneur and I've often worn many, many other hats as well. Being a pioneer requires that kind of adaptability since the places you're going are often uncharted. Currently I'm building socially-ware AJAX-enabled applications in Ruby on Rails as part of the so-called Web 2.0 initiative. The future is in sites that allow people to build the Web sites that they use, to be active participants, to shape and adapt what they use to how they want to use it, and to open things up to encourage and reward innovation. |
